1. Satch Boogie?
Hmmm

No sir, I didn't like it, but he did train Kirk Hammet so I can't dislike the man.

3. Didn't Satriani train Vai as well?
I seem to remember that. Maybe "it's a false statement" as Bush would say.

10. Blasphemy!
He was the stunt guitarist on Frank Zappa's last tour in 1988, and played in Steve Vai's band for years (completely keeping up with Vai...he's easily an equal, if not better, in my opinion). He's been putting out solo albums since 1991, all of which are amazing. He's a stellar guitarist, keyboardist, and composer. He's also a hell of a nice guy. If you've got the first G3 video and album, he sings "My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama".

12. mike kennealy is a great musician.
His songs really suck though. He opened for vai on his fire garden tour i think. Played songs about cows and how he hated his car or whatever.. too much zappa in him i think.

20. That was ages ago!
He still writes strange lyrics, but not like those. Musically, "Day Of The Cow" is stellar. Try his new rock album "Dog" when it comes out, or his orchestral album. "Wooden Smoke" is also quite good. Andy Partridge of XTC raved about it!

15. nah, i like him but he's a little too busy.
i'd have to go with chris duarte for guitar, although stevie ray would be a close second. john scofield would be in there somewhere.

vocals=chris robinson
drums=mitch mitchell (i don't really ahve a huge preference for drummers)

keyboards=no idea, maybe chick corea or bernie worrell

bass=jaco or stanley jordan

16. Man, I'd put Van Halen as the ax man in my band
I dunno that the others are that good in a band. Terrific players. Brilliant. But in solo stuff.

Want a rock band member, gimme Eddie.

18. I forget nothing
Because I know nothing of the personalities of these fuckers.

I know nothing of who you recommended, though. The more obscure the better I suppose.

I'd want the best rock band player.

Asshole or not.

19. my ideal band isn't a rock band anyway..
I've read enough interviews that eddie is so egotistical that he annoys me greatly.

seen the ticket prices for the van halen upcoming tour? FUCK THEM. the lower the ticket price, the better show you usually get.
