Sheesh.

VIRGINIA: PENTECOSTAL MINISTER DIES OF SNAKE BITE A Pentecostal minister, bitten by a rattlesnake he was handling at an Easter service in "a test of faith," has died, said Sheriff Gary Parsons of Lee County. The Rev. Dwayne Long, 45, who was also a farmer and contractor in Rose Hill, a community in southwestern Virginia, refused medical treatment, the authorities said. Sheriff Parsons said the congregation had offered prayers for Mr. Long, a father of five. Anne Berryman (NYT)
