2. How about some red wine?
There was an article written by some quack that postulated red wine is good for your blood pressure. So it must be true. :D

9. I'm drinking Sangiovese made in Abruzzi
Abruzzi being the place my family is from. A strong taste, dry but a little salty. Salud! :toast:

6. Go and see "Kill Bill Vol. 2"
"Kill Bill" is one of the greatest films ever made. I swear. And I'm hypercritical.

IMHO, of course.:D

8. maybe so
But I am even more hypercritical, and Tarantino is a pretentious bore. Derivative and overrated. Well-crafted crap is still crap.

Won't be seeing the movie.

11. song I am listening to
The morning is dead
And the day is too
There’s nothing left here to greet me
But the velevet moon
All my loneliness
I have felt today
It’s a little more than enough
To make a man throw himself away
And I continue
To burn the midnight lamp
Alone

Now the smiling portrait of you
Is stll hangin’ on my frowning wall
It really doesn’t really doesn’t bother me too much at all
It’s just the, uh, ever falling dust
That makes it so hard for me to see
That forgotten ear-ring laying on the floor
Facing coldly toward the door
And I continue
To burn the midnight lamp
All alone

Burn
Lonely lonely, yeah
Lonely lonely lonely
Loneliness is such a, drag

So here I sit to face
That same old fire place
Gettin’ ready for the sam old explosion
Goin’ through my mind
And soon enough time will tell
About the circus and the wishingwell
And someone who will buy and sell for me
Someone who will toll my bell
And I continue to burn the midnight lamp
Alone

Darlin’ do you here me callin’ you
So lonely
Lonely!

14. Doesn't she kill the dog in that movie with a speargun?
I can't remember quite how the dog dies, but that's saying a lot, because I barely remember that movie. Billy Zane, Sam Neill, Nicole Kidman. That's about it.

15. I haven't seen "Dead Calm" in years
Wasn't that an unknown Nicole Kidman? Or am I thinking of something else? I remember liking it. (Maybe I am not so hypercritical, but I love messin' with my buddy Fenris) :-)

20. This one is really good though
If you like kung fu movies, or just really exciting action films (with intelligence), you should like the movie. Definitely better than "Pulp Fiction" and "Jackie Brown". The violence isn't reality-based like in those films. It's almost absurd.

And I've hated a good many films that the critics fawned over! :D

21. Jackie Brown is his best
Not to be contrarian (who? me?), but I think that is his best by virtue of his fans liking it the least.

Plus, it had too high of expectations following Pulp Fiction.

23. Andy Garcia and I think that guy who used to be Batman is in it
and it's about how a sociopathic killer ends up being a bone marrow donor for this FBI guy's kid, and then the sociopathic killer changes his mind, etc.

Not the one I was thinking of... post a review afterwards if this is the first time you have seen it.

Never can have too many recommendations.
