1. I'm sending this to a friend who worked for Gephardt |
|
I know that he wasn't the top candidate on DU, and engendered a lot of criticism, but I admire the man greatly. He was sincere and always followed his conscience.

2. You people are deplorable! |
|
Dick Gephardt has done more for the Democratic party in his 28 years of service than any of the people you look up to. He bowed out very early both times he ran for President because he didn't want to keep a campaign alive that didn't pass his first test, so we could get to the nominee that much quicker. He deserves your respect, not this petty crap you use for entertainment!!

The top three Democratic candidates with whom I agreed the most on the issues were:
1. Al Sharpton 2. Dennis Kucinich 3. Dick Gephardt
At least, according to an on-line test I took back in January.

Those I'm referring to know who they are. Dick's a great guy. I spoke with him two weeks ago and he's doing great and he's supporting the nominee wholeheartedly because he's a team player.

8. My feeling is that this asserts that Gephardt is a great American |
|
He would have had my vote in a heartbeat, though Kucinich was always my first choice, Gephardt a close second. But Gephardt has a good heart, and always thought of his country and duty first, unlike Bush*. I respect the man greatly. The Gephardt-bashing on DU was totally undeserved, since I have listened to the man and he had serious discussions with Bush* about the Iraq war, and Bush* didn't keep his word with Gephardt, to go to the U.N., as he promised, as he hasn't with the rest of the American people. Bush* just needs to go. Gephardt still has my great respect.:grr:
