Well, for the second time since I retired from flying in 1999, and the first time since 9/11/01, Miz t. and I are planning a plane trip. Pensacola to Seattle to Vernon BC for a wedding in July.
So far I plan to: 1. Wear loafers for easy-off, easy-on at security. 2. Pack my tiny Swiss Army knife (1 1/2" blade), which I cannot function without, in my checked baggage. 3. Get my passport renewed. 4. Get a T shirt to wear in BC that says "If you can't say anything nice about George Bush*, sit next to me."
What else do I need to do? Thanks.

1. Take a bit of silver foil |
|
Cut it into the shape of a handgun. Put it under the layer of plastic at the bottom of your suitcase. Sit back and enjoy the comforts of airport security. Don't forget to cough!!

I think I'll get stick-on "Hi, my name is..." name tags and, using a black magic marker and large block letters, write "GOOD GUY" and wear that on my shirt. That way they'll know I'm one of the good guys.

For the guys and gals trying to do "their" job at the airport and you shouldn't have any trouble.
I would reserve the bumper stickers for the "head" during the flight and the Taxi's afterwards though.

11. I flew back to Boston |
|
2 weeks ago from California, my husband kept talling me i'm probably on the no-fly, so he was ready to come and get me after i was cavity checked by the TSA. Well i got on fine, i wore my "Evildoer" shirt, i had 2 books "American dynasty" and the "The price of loyalty" with me, 2 books of matches and a bic lighter, and tweezers. Not only was i not on the no-fly list, i got through security with a big smile, i didnt attempt to hide the matches or the lighter, i saw them when my purse went through the x-ray, no problem, "Have a nice flight".

12. Don't wear a bra with a metal underwire |
|
I know that it sounds funny, but it happened to a coworker of mine. She couldn't figure out what was setting off the metal detector.
