Poll question: Al-Qiyamah |
|
Just heard Sen. Clinton suggest that a Cubs/Yankees series would be a sign that the end is nigh.
Which scenario would be the clearest sign of the End of Days?

As a life-long Cubs fan who also has a soft spot for the Red Sox, I had mixed emotions about last Fall. I really wanted both teams to make it to the series, but with all that was going on in the world, I was all but certain it would be the last series I ever watched. The entire world would explode the moment they took the field.

2. Oh yeah, I wanted the Cubs to win so bad |
|
That was my first time rooting for them (I'm a Cubs fan by marriage). The *way* they lost was absolutely shocking. I was tempted to send condolences to the in-laws.
It's sad To be a Cubs fan. It is terrible. How can anybody be a fan of a team like that?
Whaddya going to do Root, and root, and root.

3. Wrigley Nation's treasure |
|
One of the best places to be in the world. True nation's treasure. There is no ball park I have ever enjoyed more - including the entire 5 mile neighborhood. Cubs fan forever. The true end of the world will be when they lift a hand against Wrigley Field.
