Well, crap. More for me, I guess... |

My tartlets for the MoveOn bake sale did not come out well at all. I made pear, walnut, roquefort and carmelized onion tartlets (sort of a making the pie higher through French cooking thing). They taste good, but the shells are scarily misshapen, and too delicate to stand up to being wrapped, picked up, "what the hell is this?"-ed by the soccer moms (we're selling at a park with fields) and put back down 100 times before someone buys them.
Oh well. I still have zucchini bread, lemon squares and snickerdoodles.That'll do quite nicely for my share.
Tartlets for breakfast!

Lots of butter in this one...I like the overall recipe but maybe I'll find a different pastry next time.
