Read the whole page (some good stuff), but go to the end of the page for this.

Imus sez 'Bring IRS on!'

It's a safe bet Don Imus wasn't in any tax protests yesterday. In a first for a rich American, Imus says the feds should raise his taxes. The morning media salt lick wondered aloud this week how President Bush plans to pay for additional troops in Iraq.

"They shouldn't be cutting taxes on people like me," Imus said on MSNBC. "We can afford it. We can pay them. Kids are dying over there and people are worried about paying their taxes? It's an honor as an American. Bring it on!"

3. He seems to be improving as of late. AMazing. I think this shock jock
thing with FCC may have got the attention of some in radio broadcasting. I am starting to hear more criticism of Bush on radio- and not just from Air-America.

4. Good for Don
I think Stern and Al Franken said the same thing when Al was on Stern just prior to the AA launch.

But David Cay Johnston (author of "Perfectly Legal") would argue that Imus pays enough... it's the Walton Family etc. that should be paying their fair share.

Johnston was on O'Reilly on the 15th, and it was amazing just how STUPiD Bill is... he claimed to have read the book ("I'm the only host of the shows you're going on who actually read the book") but if he did, he TOTALLY missed the point. DCJ couldn't even keep up with correcting Bill's distortions and misinterpretations, they were coming so fast and SO far off course. Not sure if Bill was doing it deliberately, or if he didn't read the book or do ANY homework beforehand, or if he's just stupid as mud.

I guess O'Reilly (and maybe Stern and Imus) are among the 19% of Americans who falsely believe they are among the top 1% of income recipients.

5. Holy Cracker!
This guy is commendable.

Whether it's because of the soldier shortage or because of the budget imbalance...
