Went to the moveon bake sale in St Louis today

All I can say is YUM, YUM!!! There was so much delicious baked goods. I settled on a challah, a piece of gooey butter cake (a St Louis thing) and two VERY SOFT and VERY DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies.

On the table they had little laminated cards with Bushian quotes...just to remind people why these bake sales are important. I hope seeing Bush quotes didn't cause anyone to lose their appetites but it was only quotes and no pics so that's a good thing.

Traffic was steady and people were buying. They even had voter registration cards.


On edit: For those St Louisans who do not know, the St Louis Moveon.org bake sale is in front of Vintage Vinyl on the corner of Delmar and Leland (I think's it's Leland) in the University City Loop.

1. Mine was in South Orange, NJ. Yum yum, here too....

I was tooling along a main thoroughfare when I saw the bright green signs, "bake sale to defeat bush." Naturally, I followed the signs. :7 My sale people were doing a brisk business. A lot of cars stopped and/or honked as they passed by. I might add, that the baked goods I purchased were deeeee-licious!!! :9
