I posted a simple question, at what price for gas would send you out protesting? No one gave a price WHY? I used gas has an easy example because it's something we all use and higher gas prices means higher prices for every thing else. The United States is the most powerfullest country on Earth and it's people are ripped off and taken advantage by big business and our Government. Why can't We The People stand together and fight for better more affordable health care? Do you like paying the highest prices in the free world and getting ripped off and taken advantage of in return? What would it take for you to say "I'V HAD IT AND I'M GOING TO GO OUT, JOIN A GROUP AND PROTEST FOR A BETTER AMERICA! Sadly your government and big business is banking on your choice to stay home and do nothing. Take care, Please pray for peace and fight for health care reform.

What would it take to move you into action? We pay the lowest prices for gas and the highest prices for health care. This isn't about gas it's about what would it take for people to get up off their ass and fight and protest for a better America? I mean does a major disaster have to occur before people demand answers and change from our Gov.

But I think we have more pressing matters at the moment than what it takes to drive our horribly inefficient cars. There's certainly some corporate greed involved in the price of gasoline, but quite frankly if Americans weren't so caught up in driving their flashing new speed racers or hulking Humvees, it wouldn't be as big an issue. I would personally be more motivated to protest car manufacturers who for years have marketing these monstrosities as though the environment and the absolute nature of the oil supply would never be an issue that concerned anyone.
There could be solutions to our dependence on oil for traveling purposes, if we sought them out. A more constructive response to the rising gasoline prices would be, in my opinion, demanding our government put serious effort into developing alternatives to our grossly disproportionate consumption of oil.
