Did anyone else in western NC see that! It just lit the sky on my mountain |
I had gone out on the back deck to - well, er - commune with nature. That is an advantage males have who are spending time alone in the wilds: skip the plumbing feature. Anyway, it was 9:14 PM EDT and the sky totally lit up with an extremely bright meteor (or ICBM!) that seemed to arc in from the ESE to the WSW. Stopped my stream, it did!

4. That would be WAY too confusing for the UFOers in Transylvania County. |
The trailers aren't in parks. They are everywhere. Maybe they are here to implant a chip in my butt. Or my dogs' butts. Eh?

10. I resent that remark. |
I live in a mobile home park and I am not a redneck. Why does everyone equate rednecks to trailer parks?

Actually, thanks. I'd forgotten about the spring meteor shower (the Lyrids). Lyrids started yesterday, and peak on the 22nd. http://science.nasa.gov/newhome/headlines/ast21apr99_1.htm
