Millican Pecan Company
San Saba, Texas

I found them online (by accident) and ordered some pecan candies..

The best pecan divinity I have ever had, and my grandmother made some pretty darned good divinity..

It comes packaged in tins, and the delivery was fairly quick. too..

Yummmmmmmmm

1. Cool
We are not all bad in Texas. Hell, I doubt Bush even knows what pecan divinity is. I remember being able to buy this type of candy as a kid at cafeterias. It wasn't exactly divinity but it was good nonetheless.

2. San Saba is the"Pecan Capital of the World"
At least that's what the sign over Main Street says. I work for a State agency in Texas that has a facility in San Saba and visit it several times a year. :)

4. Texans sure know how to do up pecans
I've visited Texas a few times, and even plain old pecan pie there almost makes me cry. Thanks for the link.

5. I hear ya about the Pecan Pie....the very, very best....
Edited on Sat Apr-17-04 09:47 PM by BostonTeaParty04
mmmmmmm, I should order some of them pecans and try to bake one up....

need a texas recipe though. Somehow... their filling is kind of gelatinous or like the consistency of a soft chess pie instead of like syrupy goop that most people come up with...

OH MY GOD, I want some pecan pie now.....
