John Malkovich joins the cast of the Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy film
Hollywood star John Malkovich has joined the cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a Disney version of Douglas Adams's cult sci-fi novel.

Malkovich, known for quirky roles, will play a cult leader, created for the film by the late Adams.

While a genius of his own accord, he's not the most personable of fellows... A friend of mine who met him knew this firsthand.

Besides, everybody dies. It's only a matter of where and when.

From a script that Addams was working on before he died. Sam Rockwell is slated to play Zaphod. He's the only cast member who's name I recognized.

7. Dunno about Malkovich, but WTF is DISNEY doing
molesting a perfectly good British series?

Every time the Americans product something British (anything beyond 1980, mind you), they seem to fail horribly. "Coupling", "Doctor Who", et cetera.

I mention post-1980 as "All in the Family" and "Three's Company", "Cosby" (CBS), came from originally British shows, their pilots being strikingly similar at times.
