What does everyone think about motorized recreation?

Snowmobiles
ATVs
Personal Water Craft



Just curious. I'm new and haven't seen anything on this subject yet.

1. Jet skiing is fun

I used to go to a lake every summer and go jet skiing, but haven't in awhile. :)

I like water and summer sports best.

3. Love snowmobiling

That is my winter passion and altime favorite thing to do.

Jet-skiing on lakes is boring, but rivers & oceans is a rush.

ATVs are fun as well.



I was asking more for the issues involved though. Enviro, public land/water, etc.

6. I'm not much into snowmobiling only because I hate the cold and snow

I'd rather stay inside with hot chocolate and long underwear.

I like warm and cozy!

4. Depends on the impact

I don't have a problem with using ATVs on specified courses. When they leave the courses, however, they often cause a lot of problems in natural areas.

5. In the west

ATVs are a big issue for that reason. WSJ said sales will be $3 billion this year.

I also hunt, and during this time, after having hiked my ass of for 6 miles, I hear one, I am pissed.

7. one question regarding snowmobiles-

just about every year, at least one person gets their noggin lopped off by some unseen barbed-wire fence or the like, and my question is this-
when that happens, how do they get the head out of the helmet?

after all, those things can be hard to pull off when your head's still attached to your body
