Vancouver/ New York 94 playoffs. Game six

This is one of the most amazing minutes in Sports history. Canucks score, they didn't see if it for sure went in. So play continued...then the rangers scored....upon replay they decided the canucks had scored so the ranger goal didn't count.....that win sent the game to game seven. Hell of a series.

I love how you can hear the moment they put the score on the board and call it a goal....the place just goes berezerk. I have two friend that were at that game who said their ears rang for a day after that game.

But you know damned well that Americans don't generally care much about Hockey. If they do care about it they are probably from one of the Northern (i.e cold) states, and that DU has a large Californian contingent. Put the numbers together and it doesn't take much to see that many DUers don't give a shit about hockey. Take Kleeb for example, he's a Virginian. The day Virginians generally care about hockey will be the day that middle-eastern countries start importing vast amounts of pork products. This statement is also applicable to most of America (with the exception of New England MN, WI, MI and parts of NY, IL, and PA) The reason there are no threads is because very few people in this country and at DU by extension care about hockey.

I think it would be cool for a moderator to set up a poll pinned to the top of each forum that has only one option and ask people to vote on it as a sort of census
