I'm surprised I remembered my password |
|
Sorry that I haven't been posting*. I happened to read about bookcrossing.com in the Sunday paper a little over a month ago and got seriously addicted. With my slow dialup, I can only spend a lot of time on one forum:-(
Is anybody else here a bookcrosser?
* I do still come here and read posts to get my dose of reason whenever "something happens" in the world news. Zapatero's announcement brought me here today.

2. bookcrossing.com looks like a good site |
|
I may regret that you posted that URL. Looks like a good way to spend way too much time on the computer.

4. No, I am not a bookcrosser but am interested. |
|
They had a meeting here in St Louis this weekend. I didn't go but read about them in Saturday's paper.
What a wonderful way to get books out there. I would prefer to free them on the bus though, that way lower income people would be more likely to pick one up.

5. Well, if you sign up, pm me for a "RABCK" |
|
My bookshelf has terrible titles to offer right now, though. The bookcrossers organized a challenge to release a million books before the St. Louis convention and all my good ones got away. Time for me to visit a used bookstore...
BTW, there's a Michael Moore/Molly Ivins/Al Franken book relay going on now on bookcrossing: do a forum search.
