It's 85 degrees right now in Minneapolis |
|
The wind is blowing, there's dark clouds to the west, and the forcast is for some strong thunderstorms and a low temperature tonight of 43 degrees.
That is a 42 degree drop. That is a lot.

1. This is more like July weather, except for the 43 degree forcast |
|
for tonight. Thunder rumbling in the west. Must get off the phone line. Blew my last modem in a t-storm last summer.

4. A very ominous system indeed... |
|
85 degrees... yipes. I had 3 computers on today doing some intense work, and it usually gets that warm with them on!
42 degree drop, no wonder this system is whipping upa lot of rotation...

11. And then we had one big banger of a thunder/wind storm |
|
The wind blew all day, and around 6:30, the sky grew really, really dark. Then the rain, thunder, and lightening came blowing in. It poured rain, so that the sloping driveway of my apartment's parking lot turned into a shallow waterfall, and the lightning kept flashing like a dying lightbulb.
There were possible tornados south of here.
I guess this is my official welcome back to the Midwest. :-)
