3. forgive my ignorance whitacre
what is that? Is it a Bill Hicks piece or a Chomsky cover band? That would be funny. I need to be enlightened. Did you find any cool music? Are you a vinyl or a CD or a MP3er? or all of the above.

4. It's a Hicks album.
Came out just after his death.

And yes, I found some cool music (I am a vinyl man myself, although I do purchase CDs when there are especially cool bonus tracks or it's a piece than needs longer than an album side allows, like some symphonies or live jazz recordings).

I got the second Beefheart record (Safe as Milk), the second Radio Birdman album, "Thank Christ for the Bomb" by the Groundhogs (referenced in my other thread), a live Motorhead picture disc ("No Sleep 'til Hammersmith"), and a split LP by two of Akron's favorite '70s punkers the Bizarros and the Rubber City Rebels (famed for the classic song "Child Eaters").

popular around here - my son likes Ice Cream for Crow. We have a fair amount of vinyl, but the turntable gave up the ghost long ago and they just sit around. Plus there are so many MP3s that it would take several lifetimes( well I think so) to listen to them all.

He is looking to see if he has that Bill Hicks album. Yes, yes he does.

6. Hicks was great.
David Cross is the only comedian (that i'm aware of) in the same vain as Hicks.

7. Agreed.
When I listen to "Shut Up...", I think of Bill.

What a field-day he would have now...
