It's truly amazing to me what the media and entertainment/fashion industry has done to the perception of the ideal female body type in this country. When an actress of Winslet's caliber is judged so intensely on her weight, while her brilliant performances are routinely ignored. So very sad.

I read a recent interview with her (in Jane magazine, I think) where they asked her about that, and she said that it was absolutely untrue. He never said it.
