Otis Redding and George Huff (American Idol)

The similarity in thier looks I found shocking. Am I crazy in this regard?



George Huff is awesome! He got in as an alternate by the grace of some higher being, because he is by far the best. His deep resonant voice is...is...well amazing. He sang "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay" a few weeks ago, and it was the best version I have ever seen, or heardm besides the original.

Otis had the high cheekbones, very angular face. George is softer, sweeter.

December 10, 1967: Rock 'n roll singer Otis Redding (26) and four members of his Bar-Kays band were killed when their Beechcraft H-18 plane crashed in icy Lake Monoma near Madison, Wisconsin, on a foggy night. Redding is best known for his hit, “Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay,” which was released after his death. Redding had recorded the song just three days earlier.
