What does DU mean to you?

7. It means so much!

When Shrub got in I literally shook and cried for a couple of days. I was so scared. I knew immediately that we were going to Iraq. I said that gas prices would skyrocket. I was scared that his stupidity would cause WWIII.
Now jump ahead a few years. Only a couple of months ago, I started looking for a liberal radio station. I always heard Rush on the radio and thought there had to be a liberal station. Found this site and it is my life line.
My God!! I'm not nuts!! I was really worried that I was paranoid.

11. sanity and the truth

when the Iraq war was being marketed, I really felt like "Democracy Now" was the only media outlet which said the truth about the reasons for our inevitable invasion.

Here in Georgia, nobody I talked to knew the truth. They believed all of Bush's insane lies and his christian rhetoric. Most of them still do.

Thank God I found DU.
