Sometimes I refer to the period of time before I was born to as "when I was dead."

any sort of particular take on the "beginning of life" question. If you prefer, treat it as "were you dead before you were conceived" or something like that. Or, "were you dead 10 years before you were born."

If you were to say that you were dead before you were born, you could just make up any number of imaginary people and say that they're dead, as they've just never been born...it just doesn't make sense...
