Geez,

You have to be elected first before you can be President. Get it right folks

1. *tired sigh*
He was elected. Let's focus on un-electing him this time. It's a far better focus for our energy.

2. Elected by whom? 5 of daddy's friend on the SCOTUS
By Katherine Harris and her great efforts to purge.

3. We went through the process...
...they played teh game better, even if they cheated and got away with it, and Bush ended up as President of the US. Now, let's get over Election 2000 and focus on something more immediate and important.

5. I am over the 2000 election but I will never refer to him as the "P" word
end of discussion.

He was not elected. The fact that we have to use statements like "He played the game better than we did" just shows how much how he wasn't elected.

8. You should.
That is the position he is curently serving in. The whole "it's my ball and I'm going home" mentality that surrounds the "pResident" silliness makes us all sound like 3rd graders. It really does do nothing for our cause and gives our opponents something else to laugh at us about.

Sad really.

7. Nuh-uh.
John Tyler wasn't elected. I don't think we'd deny he was president.
Millard Fillmore wasn't elected. I don't think we'd deny he was president.
Andrew Johnson wasn't elected. I don't think we'd deny he was president.
Chester Arthur wasn't elected. I don't think we'd deny he was president.
Gerald Ford wasn't elected. I don't think we'd deny he was president.

There does seem to be a pattern emerging here though...

9. Unfortunately, he gets to wear the title president
the supreme court made their decision. So know it will be back in the publics hands in November, hopefully we will see an uprising and a landslide election against him.

10. I put quotation marks around that word. . .
like this:

Worst. "President". Ever.

11. I'm with the
"he wasn't elected" contingent.

Not that I'm a constitutional lawyer (hey, where were they when the Supremes held their bloodless coup?). Regardless, if I ever refer to him as 'president' it'll be just that: president, with the little 'p.'

No reference intended to the fact that Socks was Clinton's cat whereas to the Fortunate Son socks are what you stuff in your flight suit.
