My mother passed away this morning at 4:00 am PDT

On the way to the hospital and on the way home I heard Clocks by Coldplay. Now every time I hear that song I will think of my momma:cry:

But it never goes away. I lost my dad about 8 years ago...and my sister about 4 years ago. It's difficult, but it gets easier, I promise. Because life has to go on, and just keep telling yourself that your mother would have wanted you to live your life. I'm so sorry for your loss. :hug:

Because she had a bad stroke it is probably for the best. She survived three years after the stroke and lately she just sort of slowly went away. I miss her so much already.

When we lose a beloved parent, we lose some of ourselves, our history since our parents knew us before we 'knew' ourselves. My mom passed almost 5 years ago and I still miss her immensely (she would have loved DU) and she 'comes' to me in little ways.
