Talk about Seinfeld with me... |
|
Tonight is one of my favorites. Jerry and Elaine decide they can have sex and still be friends.
Rule #1 - No calls the day after. Rule #2 - Spending the night is optional.
The whole scene where Jerry is telling George about the "arrangement" is one of the BEST ever!

is the backwards one. But I believe I've seen every single episode. I'd have to say Elaine is my favorite character. :D

Seinfeld is a damned funny show. Too many great lines to choose one.
I will say this, though: What does it say about the Imperial Subjects of Amerika (and us Free Americans, too) that so mny of our shows, idolize, pedestalize and present as role models (implicitly) people who are ASSHOLES!

9. Seinfeld characters are rotten people for sure, but it makes great comedy |
|
:-)
They always get their comeuppance though, don't they? Kind of like a morality tale within comedy.

Not so sure about the "morality tale" part.

like Seinfled -- never saw it during its run and the reruns I've seen leave me cold (can't relate to the characters at all) -- but I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David, at least as represented in that show, is almost a carbon copy of my father-in-law.

16. It amazes me that I can watch the nightly Seinfeld episode, |
|
know exactly what they are going to say, and laugh my ass of when they say it anyway. Sometimes I actually giggle in anticipation. If I know Kramer is about to take a fall or set his hair on fire, it's still funny as hell when he does it.
I can't say that about very many TV shows or movies.
