Short and curvy is the norm here.

3. I've seen your pics
you're beautiful girl!
Ain't nuthin' wrong with short and curvy!!!
When you get older like me you'll realize how silly you were to worry about that stuff when you were young and gorgeous (not that I didn't do that, I did).:D

4. Yes, me too!
I'm tall and thin-ish. Women's clothes are too big in the hips and frequently too short. And too narrow in the shoulders. I desperately need a new pair of jeans (my "dress" jeans are fraying), but shopping is one of my least favorite things to do.

I know it's not a matter of life or death. 'Just a petty annoyance.

Baggy pants, polo shirts. Works for me, but I guess I am kind of a tomboy!

11. Heh, I know what you mean,
My size and weight are about average, but for some reason few of my clothes fit right. My boob size doesn't match my waist (okay boob size, teeny tiny waist) and I'm not going to discuss how big my ass is. :P Dress shopping and pants shopping suck big time. :(

18. yes it is
It is a pain but maybe check out the low rider fad before it's too late. There are still some styles on the sales racks anyway. With a small waist/round hips, I went years without being able to buy jeans until the low riders came in style. Stock up while they're still around, is what I'm saying. I live in the deep south, and more and more women are either stick figures or barrel shaped, and most clothes bag at the waist if they fit my rear end. So it might be trashy and it might make people think I'm trying to be Britney, but I'm hanging onto my low riders.

What really annoys me is size inflation or deflation or whatever the heck it is. What was once an 8 is now a 4, and pretty soon I'm going to fall off the end of the rack and not be able to find any clothes at all. I feel sorry for the former size 4s who must now be 0s and already not have any clothes to choose from. Argh.

Like the man said, short people have no reason to live.

Sigh. Casino shops, which often cater to Asians, can have some cute styles for short people, but unfortunately they do not allow enough room in the bodice if you're really curvy.

19. My height fits okay, but curves cause fitting issues.
Now matter how big or small I am, the top is two sizes bigger than the bottom, so if I'm looking for dresses, it's hard to find soemthing that flatters and fits right. Plus even with pants, my hip to waist ratio is a little more. I think they size it for hips 10 inches above the waist and my hips tend to be more like 11 or 12 inches over my waist. Plus, with jeans, is there a happy medium between buttcrack exposure and old lady mom jeans? Geesh!
Oh sure, curvy's great until you're trying to find clothes that fit. :eyes:

20. I detest clothes shopping....
I think they should hand out complimentary anti-depressants to women upon entering clothing stores. I actually cry a lot of times after clothing shopping because I feel so ugly and fat -- and I'm about 5'5" and 130 pounds, so it's not like I _should_ worry. I'd like to know who the hell designs women's clothing, anyhow. Do they live in dark little caves where no women exist, or where it's so dark they can't _see_ the women?

21. Us curvy girls get the shaft
if the waist fits, then the thighs don't! And I have to get shirts at least one size too large for my shoulders and arms so my boobs fit!

They don't make clothes for the hourglass figure anymore.

22. I think the problem is that women's clothes..
(unlike men's) are made to fit one average, imaginary woman. I do not have an hourglass shape. I have wide shoulders and narrow hips and women's clothes don't fit me all that well (I buy Junior jeans, but I can't wear those dinky little shirts...) Men really have the best deal: Shirts, for instance, can be selected by both neck and sleeve size. Pants have both a waist and length. Why can't this be the standard for women's clothes!?!

23. my beef is the huge gap between clothes for female teens
( plenty of those) and clothes for those who are into some weird sack-like look (plenty of those). Those of us who are over a certain age 30, 35, 40, seem to be expected to proceed to the "sacklike" aisle, lacking style, color, or any semblance of intrigue. There must be some stylish, interesting clothes somewhere in the 12/14 and up range that are not boring, don't cost a fortune, and don't look like "Britney/ Christina - wear!" AAAIIIEEEE.

24. I went back to the junior department
I've lost weight over the past year and I can fit into that stuff again, so I figure if I'm 30-ish and not wearing mom jeans with elastic on the sides with sweatshirts, it's not too bad. Not all junior's sizes are totally Britney-esque, just a little younger than the misses stuff. They run smaller though, but I've seen 15's which would probably work for a 12/14. I'm a 10 (borderline 8) and I usually wear an 11 in juniors.

25. I still look around in there sometimes
Target stuff for example is not quite so Britneyish... and I don't really want to expose my navel! I used to go into Rave in my rock- chick days since the conventional clothes were so boring!
