Not only is my cousin's son in Iraq, |
|
I just found out another cousin is over there, and so is one of my nephews. No one knows when any of them are coming home.
God damn this foul (mis)Administration and their trumped-up bullshit war. Damn them to hell.

4. It stinks. It just stinks. |

I don't see anyone named Bush or Cheney spending 10 months in the desert, do you? Bunch of chickenhawk lily-livered BASTIDS, I say.
Did your husband have a pillow? My poor cousin says his unit didn't get any pillows!

They didn't have any for them. Nice, huh? I had to send him a blanket, too.

I am sorry to hear that news. Hard to fight the anger and sadness every day with these criminal fucks. May they stay safe and be home as soon as humanly possible.
Let me know if there is anything I can do.
Love ya both, Laurin and Katy

My cousin's supposed to send me their unit numbers and the proper addressing so I can put together care packages for them. I think they're getting embarrassing amounts of stuff already, but still, I want them to know there's a lot of us who want them home safe.
Do you know what they weren't issued? PILLOWS. They were using rucksacks for pillows. Jeebus, what filthy profiteers took the troops' budget for pillows and gave it to Halliburton instead? PILLOWS. Kee-rist.
My cousin's son says now that his mom's sent him a pillow, all the guys in his unit are jealous and want one too. No body armor and no pillows. And they claim THEY'RE supporting the troops. What utter bullshit.

i too have a family member in the desert hell. my uncle has been there over a year.
some advice; dont trust them when they say your relatives are coming home. we've been told 4 or 5 times that my uncle would be coming home, and hes still over there. dont believe thier coming home until you see them walking off the plane.
