I was thinking of buying one of those scooters

They are expensive though. Does anyone know about finding good deals on used ones? Will a used scooter dealer treat me fairly, or am I better off camping out by the nursing home and waiting for a family of bereaved eager sellers?

6. Try your local classified ads

I love reading what people want to sell in classifieds (ex: badly stained wedding dress. Never worn. May be blood, or placental matter. We don't know. Pristine condition except for the stain which covers 75% of the dress. NEver worn. Size 42 long. Paid $800, asking $1500 obo. call....)

But I've seen TONS of Rascals/other type scooters in the paper for sale...
