Scott Paterno for Congress!
Okay, so the son of Penn State's legendary football coach Joe Paterno is running for Congress. Why, you ask? Because he's an opportunist and really has nothing else going for him. He seems to have adopted the George W. Bush formula: Step One) Bank on name recognition Step Two) Profit! And like his role model, Scott is about as smart as a box of rocks - he got his bachelor's degree in political science from Penn State in a mere six years! And then it was off to law school at...Penn State. How could someone as ridiculously simple as Scott get into Penn State (twice!), you ask? Re-read the first sentence of the article!

But Scott's stupidity isn't just my opinion. Let's let Scott's blog entries speak for themselves!

On President Clinton:
"In my opinion, President Clinton, at the very least, conspired to commit murder at least 56 times. In my opinion, the President has abused his power for his own political gain, betrayed the public trust and will continue to do so unless the American people wake up and see the man for what he really is."

On Satan:
"I am sure a majority of you are about to stop reading, but I encourage you to at least be open minded (something you liberals all claim to be) and at least objectively read this before mentioning my name in the same breath as Satan's (another guy who got a bad rap.)"

On President Clinton
"When I was a little kid, my mother told me not to lie. She said lies were dangerous because you had to keep lying to cover your first lie. Eventually, you lost the truth in a mountain of lies. That is what we have here. There are so many separate events that are all linked by one theme: They all were politically beneficial for the president. 56 plus deaths. Several fires. Numerous bureaucratic snafu's. Sexual harassment. Drug use. Financial impropriety. Cover-ups and damage control. Certainly abuse of power. Lies, lies, and more lies. That is the real Bill Clinton."

On his parents:
"After spending Easter with my family -- most of them, at least -- I had a realization: for the last four months I have almost been apologizing for who my parents are. I have almost been embarrassed by the fact that my parents are successful, hard working people who have done so many wonderful things with their lives."

On President Reagan
"At a time when the national anxiety was high because of tough economic times and the cold war, he stepped forth with a vision of hope and a message of optimism. He did so with absolute confidence because, as Americans, we ARE capable of anything. The same is true today."

And if none of those convince you our Scotty is a wondiferous candidate, read his virtual masturbation session on Senator Man-on-Dog: http://www.paterno2004.com/why/index.shtml

Way to go Scott!;)

6. It's okay. I've been paranoid the last couple of days.
I posted about the Beckham "scandal" yesterday and let's just say it was poorly received.;)

It's not good being serious about EVERYTHING. :-)

9. Jesus, don't I know! I'm not serious about anything!
I burned out on politics last year when the war started. I became so frustrated I just couldn't take it. I decided to not be so serious about it. It would kill me otherwise.

Trouble is, now every thing's a joke!;)

15. College background
I agree that this guy's a total douchebag, but on his site it says that he graduated from Dickenson School of Law- not Penn State as you said. Just thought i'd bring it up.

22. And while you're at it
Call the Athletic Department and tell them it's time for his father to retire. A once-proud football team is a disgraceful shadow of its former self.

And the Women's basketball team could beat the men five games out of six.

20. Dickinson ain't exactly Harvard
Dickinson is for the people that can't get into Widener.

I think I ran into him one night at Blondie's, back during his time in Carlisle. He was drunk as a sailor, trying to get out of his tab because of who his daddy is. It being Carlisle, he did get out of it, but then I beat him senseless with a cardboard cutout of JoePa.*

*Note. The above statement is a lie. However, it's certainly plausbile. At least the first part of it.
