Do You Eat What You Don't Understand? |
|
Escargot, Calamari, Zabaglione, Tagine, Bisque, Bernaise....
If I can't prounce it, I don't eat it with looking at how it's prepared.
My fiance thinks fried squid is "romantic."

1. I think fried squid makes great radial tires. |
|
I tried it a few years ago. I'm still chewing it.

If you had it and couldn't chew it, you need to beat the person who made it with a big big stick. Duckie

And I know where to get Dry Ice.
The problem is that there are a lot of bible thumpers here, so can you get a case of "Mad Frog" disease?
Need a "Kentucky Lobster?"

5. but of course! SF Bay Area, y'know? |
|
i'm willing to try anything once... or four or five times ;)
otherwise i would have missed out on some really delicious stuff.
i have come to not like certain ingredients though. can't stand tripe, and sea urchin sushi just makes me nauseous. also red bean ice cream isn't something i enjoy eating.
but if i didn't try it i wouldn't have known that i might like it.

I don't know about romantic, but it's certainly delicious!
Why not try it? You might like it! And even if you don't like it, you should try it from a few different places, since inexperienced or hurried cooks can sometimes ruin it. :)
