From The Depths of Hell Cometh Tator Tot Casserole... |
|
CULINARY HORROR!!! :scared:
EX-MOTHER-IN-LAW'S TATER TOT CASSEROLE FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL.....
Must-Have Main Ingredients: Processed cheese food product Ground animal flesh Key element- Tator Tots Soup
Full Recipe: 2 lbs. cheap, aged hamburger (greenish brown color, usually discounted) 1 brick Velveeta processed cheese food product 1 bag Tater Tots (generic brand (freezer burned preferred)) Handful of black pepper Handful of salt Handful of garlic powder Bag of frozen pea or corn kernels (freezer burned) 1 dented can of generic Cream of Mushroom Soup Packet of dry stale, hardened Onion Soup Mix In a large, crusty cast iron skillet, add pungent smelling burger and fry. When pan starts smoking, remove from fire. Scratch burger into a big bowl. Toss in seasonings, corn kernels, mush soup and onion soup mix and forcefully knead together with hands. Knead in Velveeta (cut into 4 chunks, one at a time). Knead mixture with hands until corn kernels are mixed into the mixture and distributed evenly. It should be very sticky and cling to the bowl and be a yellowish color. Do this for about 10 minutes or until your hands get tired. Don't use a mixer! The blades will get stuck in it and may fly at your eyes.
Remove mixture from bowl (takes a little effort as for some strange reason it begins to harden quickly like cement. Drop into a lasagna dish and flatten with the back of a spatula. Pat it down thoroughly! Now drop Tater Tots on top and cover meat mixture. (For a decorative touch, cut each Tater Tot into little florets!) and shove into a hot oven (500 degrees). When Tater Tots start smoking, remove from oven. Squirt Ketchup on Tater Tots for color. Decorate plates with a sprig of parsley to show you have class. Serves 5 or 6, depending on who dies first.
~DINNER TIP~
Cut Tater Tots into pretty little florets as a decorative touch. :-)
I found this little tidbit on weirdlinks.com Anyone else have some "special" family recipe they'd like to share?

7. Things are as well as can be expected here in the fourth world! |
|
We have finally reached a key alltime record here in WV, thanks to Bushenomics! We now have more potholes than potheads! I've been fishing and campaigning hard Bunnyj! I even campaign while I'm fishing! Good to hear from you too! I've been staying away from the TV and the Net, because all I see either place is more BAD NEWS! It's stormy here today, so I didn't go fishing! I've been catching some BIG rainbow trout! First year I've been able to fish much in about five years, because of broken heart, broken leg, and broken dreams so I'm getting caught up! Hope things are fine in your part of the country!
