in the last few days, ive seen 3 strongly republican oriented people go on bush-hating almost as well as we do.
first: a student teacher for my history class, we got into a voter registration talk... i told him i was registering dem and had to just send it in for it to be done with... he said he is a registered republican and was pretty active in the party until recently... and he will probably re register as a dem. or at least vote dem this time around
second: a co worker of mine... basically as republican as they come. suit and tie-ultra conservative type of guy. until he lost his full time job. it was outsouced to be more specific. now hes teaching drum lessons(once his small part time thing) to make his living money, this is a very well educated man (pretty damn cool for a republican too) and the other day he joined me in bush bashing in a conversation we had with the annoying republican co worker (everyone has one where they work... ya know, the one that tries to push his views on you). i was kinda surprised. after a few months of unemployment his view changed drastically. hopefully this is the same for most of the others out there struggling for a job.
third: my history teacher(advisor to the student teacher earlier mentioned), lived through vietnam, ect. has family in iraq. is actuially drawing comparisons between the two, bushbashing ect, and just 4 months ago i heard him praising Dubya. my how times have changed.
if these guys can change in one of the most conservative states out there, damn... imagine how much our base has grown over the time shrub has been in office.
well, thats your daily dose of hope. and im not even an optimist, lol

We're also bringing in people who thought politics was just some unimportant thing that happened in DC.
Like my mom. Enron made her hate the shrubenfuhrer, especially because she believes United Airlines hid assets as cover for bankruptcy (which, in turn, allowed UAL to screw its workers).

Just the perfect title for the wanker in chief ... Der Shrubenfuerher. (I like stumbling upon the right word for things.)
