What's the funniest, weirdest, or creepiest obscene phone call you've ever received.

This is open to both men and women. Yes, men DO receive obscene phone calls (from men AND women).

1. in my twenties

i amswer the phone late, and i don't hear anything, but i sence somebody is there. so i told him i could hear him breath, had to do it louder and hung up. which tickled my funnybone.
he called be back and i couldn't stop laughing, but managed to eek out 'louder'. hung up. called again.
i can't remember what i said the last time, but he didn't all back again.

As a young mother, I had been up all day and most of the night with a sick infant when the telephone rang and I was so dipsy when I said hello, I could hear just a low whispering and responded "pardon me, would you please repeat that", a very confused wierdo was silent and then hung up. I proceeded back to bed and laid my head on the pillow when it finally dawned on me that I had just received my very first obscene telephone call-and my last. When I jumped up and told my husband, he laughed and said, "I bet that guy doesn't call you again to get his sex thrills."

3. My across-the-street neighbor, Nancy used to get an obscene

call every Tuesday at 9 AM.. We would gather in her kitchen with coffee and donuts and wait for him.. Then we would put it on speaker phone and laugh at him.. After a few weeks, he got bored with us and quit calling :(

5. When I was about 13 years old,

a boy was having trouble getting or keeping my attention.

So, he called this one time (and it wasn't the first) but my younger brother picked up. Brother's voice had not changed so we sounded alike.

So this poor dude says or rather whispers "You Whore" and my brother says "You are what?" And the guy croaks out again "you whore" and my brother says "You are what? You are what? Mom, someone is on the phone saying YOU ARE but then he won't say what!"

Poor dude got busted. My brother was pissed that we sounded alike, so from there on out he talked like Barry White when he answered the telephone.

6. Creepy ... more weird than anything ...

... a phone call woke me ... the voice on the other end of the phone said something about "going to kill himself."

It was many years ago and I cannot recall if I said anything or simply hung up.

8. Working as a telephone operator, overtime shift. Got a call from a drunk

19 year old student from Atlanta on a line for "Hair Club for Losers". He wanted to try to freak me out with blunt sex talk. He picked the wrong operator as I turned the conversation into one of a sex therapist and a client. He was taken aback but kept talking to me. We ended up having a pretty decent conversation as we discussed how puritanical Americans are when it comes to talking about sex, double standard of dating, never accept a condom from a girl (set-up if she's put holes in it), personal choices of sex acts, etc. It started out as an obscene call but concluded with some honest opinions.

9. Oh, I don't know

Probably when I was working on a "listening line" at uni. This guy calls up and all I can hear is this noise like 1000 bananas being peeled in very quick succession by an asthmatic.
The conversation went something like this:

"Hello, can I help you?"
"Uurrrgh"
"Are you ok?"
"Urrrgh"
"Sir, this is a listening line and I'm not here to be abused like this"
"Urrrgh"
"John Major having anal sex with Maggie Thatcher"
"Uuuurrrrrgghhh!!"

He hung up.

We used to get all the weirdos. I got into quite serious problems for that but it was 3am.

10. Same guy called for a couple of years....

He would always call in the middle of the night and ask what I was wearing. I think it was someone on the 3rd shift of the company I worked for but I never figured out who.

I would usually hang up or hand the phone to my husband.. when I was getting a divorce from said husband he threatened to give the guy my new phone number.
