I have no idea how the NFL Draft will go this weekend
ESPN Radio is reporting that Archie Manning asked the Chargers not to draft Eli--and I can't blame him, seeing how terrible the Chargers have been. here are rumors going around with the Giants swapping with SD and taking Robert Gallery, aka "The Mountain" or Eli I can't even predict the first 1o selections now...Oakland could move down, no telling about the Skkins wantng wither Sean Taylor or Winslow Jr..can someone explain this mess of a sitation?

1. Yes, the Chargers will pass on Manning
He wants to play in New York.

The Giants want him to play there too.

I bet the Chargers just end up taking Gallery.

Look for the Raiders to trade down.

Look for the Redskins to draft Winslow.

Other than that, it's a crapshoot.

2. This is truly one of the most volatile years.
While there is a good amount of outstanding talent, there is no obvious #1. Gallery comes about the closest, and deservedly so.

I would imagine that teams will instantly start swapping around when SD goes on the clock. I wouldn't be surprised if half the teams in the top 10 end up picking in a different spot.

I like the draft, it's fun, but only that 30 seconds when teams announce their pick. The other 14 minutes and 30 seconds between picks? Grade A concentrated industrial-strength BOREDOM.

3. yes, 15 minutes is waaaay too long in between picks
It should be no more than 10 minutes.

No reason the first round of the draft should last 4 hours.

4. Kerry must denounce the NFL draft IMMEDIATELY!
This has been going on far too long, and Kerry must attack the Republicans in the harshest of terms.
