caught in the organ draft

Not sure if this one has been posted before but I just found it online for the first time and maybe some of the younger SF fans here, who have not encountered the story before, will find it interesting. This is Silverberg's Vietnam era meditation on the limits of protest. When we're frustrated and asking ourselves, why do the sheeple put up with the abuse well, maybe it speaks a little to that. No easy answers but a good read in my humble opinion.
