Poll question: How many DUers who want Air America Broadcasts actually get it?
I'm convinced there are more people out there (not just DUers) who want this station in their area then the Broadcasting conglomerates would have us beleive. I drive alot for my job(s) but can't find ONE station up here to counteract all of the conservative blather. :grr:

1. I have to rely on streaming and XM
And XM only carries *some* of the programming.
(Orlando area)

2. I wish I knew what that was
Yeah, I know... :dunce:

If it has anything to do w/the puter, that's out for me anyway since it's speakers aren't working. :-(

3. Am listening to it on Sirius -- and I am getting all of the programg.
On #125 --only not Ed Schultz -- I get Ed on Sirius Left!!! (#143) And everything is re-broadcast. Sent Sirius an e-mail -- really love it. I get to listen to all of the Air America Programs, plus Thomm Hartmann, Ed Schultz, and the Young Turks. Check it out! It is worth the app. $150 plus the monthly dues. Crystal clear signal!

5. I picked up a new set of speakers at Comp USA for $14.00,,,
so that may be a solution. My speakers went out recently but the new ones are great.

6. Does one have to find a special kind of speaker for their puter?
Or are there "universal"-type speakers? Dumb Q I know, but I've never claimed to computer literate. If it has to be a certain kind, I'm probably in trouble since mine is a '98' Gateway. "Real" computer people tell me it's a dinosaur. :-)

If I can get something for under 15 bucks though, I will. Thanks for clueing me in.

7. I found the speakers at COMPUSA in the computer...
accessories section. The most important thing, I think, is the connection (how the speakers plug into the computer).

Look on the back of the computer and see if you have a empty plug that will accommodate the speaker plug. I hope that helps.

We get Al and Janeane. It's great to have it because Al comes on when I usually want to do errands, so I can take him with me! :D

14. Only on the net.
It needs to be broadcast nationally, if it is to have any effect nationally.
