6. I think some Petco places get their pets from Puppy Mills
which is what they are protesting.

I volunteer at my local Pet Smart (which is Petco's competition) and they do have cats available for adoption. However, PetSmart offers space in their store for 2 cat shelters in Delaware to help us adopt out our cats. It's a great program and Pet Smart donates a slew of money and supplies to both shelthers.
