are there any colleges out there that offer internet classes |

but don't require full time enrollment? I'm looking a for place that offers them, I only want to take 3hrs of credit

Also, 4 yr. schools usually have continuing ed programs that offer just the sort of courses you describe.

at least at the ones near me, I don't want to enroll for a full degree, just one 3-credit hour class

I teach online in virginia at cc You don't want to have to pay out of state tuition. for master degrees there is www.capella.edu or phoenix univ or a number of others. some four year colleges are moving in that direction. depends on your state. do a search

They're really expensive. Most community colleges and 4 year colleges offer distance courses over the Internet.

There are bunches of colleges that do this...some do it well and some just do it :( I don't want to name names (I might have to work at some of them someday) but big isn't always better, and local may be easier to deal with if a problem arises.
My advice is be sure that any program you hook up with is already accredited. The institution will tell you, if so, but you need to know what agencies provided the accreditation as some places are crooked enough to lie about accreditation.
