Would you care if the DVD's video transfer quality was poor? (grainy and fuzzy)

While many here would complain about the picture quality of the DVD, a true fan like mne won't care about it...

I wish I could talk to him personally, brainless slave to the corporation he clearly wants to be. (I can live w/out Married with CHildren, my syndicated-cuts on VHS look just as good when compared to the DVD releases. I will not spend that much money for the same quality video, on a higher quality medium no less!!)

1. For what they charge for some TV shows on DVD

I think they ought to strive for the highest video quality. Star Trek DVDs cost near or over $100 (depending on when and where you buy them).

BTW, I think the Freaks and Geeks DVD is awesome!!!!
