Like Chris Rock, he can take racial, political and sexual issues and make light of them in a way other comedians fail to do.

He's very un-PC, but that same un-PC-ness gets you to think about issues and stereotypes in a way that no other manner would.

It's hard to describe, and his sketches don't always work, but when they do they work great. He takes risks, which SNL or Dave would never take in a million years.

One of the sketches this season was a spoof of those fifties TV shows about wholesome white families, only this family's last name happened to be Niggar. All of the jokes, of course, revolved around the bizarre juxtaposition of the name and the fact that the family was snow white. Chapelle was in the sketch as a black milkman. There is a poignant scene at a restaurant where Chapelle and the whites are laughing because Dave the milkman jokes, "You two are guaranteed the best table a nigger ever got in this restaurant." He stops laughing and in an exhausted sigh say, "This racism is killing me inside."

That's Chapelle. Funny, but he has a point too.
