Just kicked Utah's ass 44-21 on my college football video game, it was 38-7 but I let my subs in for the 4th quarter which explains that. lol other then that it was really boring and unexciting. You?

It is a long story as to why I did it but I can tell you if you want. Something different hmmm. Your going with a traditional dress right? Some colors Maroon, Red, Green, black maybe? A non-traditional dress I'd have you go with some baggy pants, a shirt you'd wear any day of the week, a silver chain hanging down to your waist with a grenade pendant, hat, and some sun glasses! :D lol I don't know.

15. Ok
If you do take my advice you will be the one to attract the most attention! ;) Ok, I started 9th grade at Sinagua High School in Flagstaff, AZ and school there started later in the month of August then schools down here because of possible days the school will have to close when it snows. When that happens they carry the days missed over to the end of the year so if 3 school days are closed due to heavy snowfall, we go 3 extra days in the summer. Because of this the 1st semester ended after winter break. Ok after November I got tired living with my grandparents, I like them and all but they are very difficult to live with so I decided to move back down here to Mesa when winter break begin. Well semester final exams are after winter break because the semester ends on January 21st. Well I did clinch credits in many of my classes but the fact I missed the final exams had me fail some classes. So when I start semester 2 down here I have to take some different courses because the class requirements you have to take are different there then Flagstaff which hurt. I wasn't in that bad of shape. Anyways in my English class I was pulling about a 'C' average (not one of my strong suits, you can obviously tell by how well I write) then this assignment comes up worth 50% of my grade. I completed the first draft but the final copy had to be on computer or typewriter paper. Not pencil or pen. Well I used one of the school computers and once I finished it wouldn't print, so I call my English teacher over and she was fiddling with it then the bell rings. I had to get to my next class and she said "I'll handle it" so I went on to my next class. Well the end of the semester rolls around and I get my grade sheet, I have an 'F' and noticed I got a '0' on the assignment. I go to point this out to the teacher and she says she never got it, I explained the situation and she said she don't remember. In the end there was nothing I can do about it. Even if I passed all my classes in the future I would still come up about 1 or 2 credits short of a Diploma. After one semester as a Sophmore and just dropped out. So there it is, me and you are the only ones posting in your good morning thread. lol.

No, I would've graduated next year. No they are awake, for some reason they don't want to post in this thread. Maybe because were hogging up the conversation. So do you want to give me your reason if you don't mind?

18. I feel the rejection already!
They just don't like me, that's it. *pout*

Um, okay, here goes. I moved out of my mom's house in 8th grade to go live with my grandparents (you know how difficult that is so I won't need to elaborate. But, I love them dearly and now I realize they just had my best interest at heart.) So, I was a B student. Always did my work, college was always one of the most important things to me. Then comes Junior year. One really big thing happened and I ended up pretty much slipping into a depression sort of state and not knowing what to do. So, I skipped school. A LOT. And I ended up failing three classes (this coming from a girl that had only made 1 C in her entire life). I had to move back in with my mom and switch schools (that just about killed me - I had sooo many close friends at the other one and truly love those people). I didn't adjust well and ended up failing one class at the new school Junior year. Enter Sr. year first semester. I had TWO tutors to try to get my butt into gear and I did okay up until it came to tests in algebra 2. No matter how hard I tried, I always sucked. So, my teacher looks at me in Oct. and told me I wasn't going to pass. I could either go and not graduate or drop out and do something more productive with my time. Decided to do the latter. It sucks. Didn't even think I was going to get to go to prom. But next month is going to be really hard seeing all my friends on that stage. But then again, I don't need to tell you that..

19. I like you!! :)
That's strange though, our stories are different but yet they are very similar. I lived with my grandparents and moved back with my mom. I had close friends at my other school, friends who would be there for me and vice versa and it killed me as well when I moved back down here, most people here will stab you in the back eventually. Yeah I skipped school alot in 10th grade because I was in that similar state of not knowing what to do and such. :pals: Glad you get to go to the prom, I feel like I know what you been through.

I completely agree with you. We've both been through a lot of the same things. I reallllly hope that you get to go to prom next year. Do you think that there's a chance you'll be able to? Someone that will ask you to? I know that it was a really big blow when I realized what I'd be missing out on. Would you take it all back? (the skipping school, etc.) or do you think it's made you a better person?

21. lol I do!!
I don't really care about the prom and probaly no one will ask me too come. I wasn't real big on school dances or stuff like that, school was just a place to learn you know what I mean? I didn't like school or anything about the school, I just went there to get educated. It is a huge blow to realize how much I would be missing on but what can you do? Would you take it all back? (the skipping school, etc.) or do you think it's made you a better person? Difficult question, the only way to answer this is by asking myself this. Am I better person before the 9th grade? Most definately. I skipped because school was becoming increasingly difficult and it was difficult trying to catch up. But I did learn lessons, and I do know this. Anything I work hard at from now on I'll never give up.

22. Very good answer.
You have a really good head on your shoulders, seriously. It's hard for people that haven't been in our situation to understand. I've heard so many people make the comments that getting your GED is just a waste since we're a failure. But you know what? We've learned lessons that people our age aren't going to learn for a long, long time. I think we're lucky (in a weird way) to be able to realize NOW what our strengths are and how we're developing as a person.

You do as well, seriously. I agree completely with everything else you said. It is so much easier to talk to someone who has been through a very similar situation and can understand where I am coming from. Whatever you plan to do with the rest of your life I am confident you'll be very successfull. :pals:
