Whis saw this last episode of te WW? The storyline with CJ and big media was well done and, I think, made a murkey issue for most Americans clear. http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/westwingtv/episodes.jsp?season=5

I have seen a lot of bitching lately about the show here, I still think it's great!

3. I agree - Thank you for bringing this up again |

I think the problem people are having is the really hate change. Not something I expect in Dems.
The show has to change if it wants to remain viable.
CJ's news ownership, de-reg piece was good but could be better. She could answer the standard "its a free country" argument with, "We no longer have a free press" and that was the point of Regulation.
Keep going West Wing

4. It's not that I hate change |

I hate when things change for the worse. And IMHO WW has changed for the worse. The characters don't even seem like the same people. And this liberal liked seeing an unabashedly liberal show. Now the characters don't even seem to care about their fellow man and woman who got laid off.
Yeah, the media consolidation theme wasn't bad. I did like what CJ did at the end.

5. Sorry ....... I can't offer an opinion on West Wing. |
|
I gave up on watching it some time ago when it started looking like a soap opera. Prime-time melodrama at its finest.

I gave up on it when CJ went home to visit her dad and wound up in bed with Matthew Modine. I'm not much on a lot personal details on characters like that. Outside of what CJ does in the White House, I don't give a crap about her life, Charlie's, etc. That episode was shark-jumping time for me.
