Where should I look to find the best deal on a treadmill |
|
there has got to be some savvy shoppers here. I already own enough workout equipment(weights, etc) that it's dumb for me to continue to pay for my gym membership and I'm moving into an apartment that has enough room and a lack of proximity to neighbors who would be disturbed by my working out.
But it's in an area of town that sucks to run in. So I'm looking for a good deal on an affordable treadmill. New, used, I don't care as long as it's dependable and inexpensive.
Any suggestions?

1. If there's a Play it Again sports near you, I'd look there |
|
I got a used weight bench from them for very cheap.

2. Dependable and inexpensive are mutually exclusive. > |
|
Inexpensive treadmills are a waste of money. They skip, they break, the motors get noisy and burn out.
You might get lucky and find a lightly-used professional model, but it'll still be expensive.

3. I bought a treadmill on an auction site |
|
I bought a nice treadmill on ubid.com a few years ago. It came with a warranty and everything (it is a Keyes treadill). They delivered it and the delivery cost was $125.00. However, even with that added in I got the treadmill for about $450.00.
Its still going too btw ... lol (lack of use!).

6. you might try a pawn shop |
|
although most pawnbrokers don't like exercise equipment as there's lots of used stuff out there due to the 90 day/ clothes rack usage that most equipment gets. That stuff also takes up a lot of room.

There's tons of work out equipment that gets used a week and disposed of. Try newspaper classified. Pennies on the dollar, well almost.
