Howard Stern - need help
:hi:

I was wondering, is it possible to listen to Howard Stern on an internet connection like Air America has?

If so does anyone please have a link and times that he is on the air (PST)? I am curious after reading recent stories about him and would like to hear what he has to say.

Thank you for your help.

3. No, he's not streamed on the net.
Perhaps he will be if he jumps to satellite.

4. thanks everyone ...
I was looking all around for Howard Stern and had no luck. I hope he gets online streaming soon because that is the only way I can pick up anything but KRED around here. I don't have a satellite dish ... *sigh*

7. a satellite dish

Sounds like a great idea but the local company wanted almost $900.00 up front for it plus another $60.00 a month for the service.

That is way too much for me. I can't afford DSL muchless a dish. I can't pick up anything much either.

I had digital cable radio for awhile for free. I wasn't impressed - too much elevator music on it and no news that I noticed.

I am really encouraged that shows like Air America are doing well. It gives me hope that this will continue as it seems a lot of people listen online. I even saw a whole story about it in Time Magazine and it mentioned it as an investment option that is doing really well.

May Air Americas spring up all over our country, especially before Nov. 2004!

10. Listen live + Commercial-Free archive (mp3's)

How to Listen live

The Howard Stern Show broadcasts LIVE on the Streamer peer-to-peer internet radio network5, at 6am Eastern Standard Time.

This is to be considered a supplement to -- not a replacement for -- The Howard Stern radio show, in protest against the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act.

The broadcasters have no affiliation with the Streamerp2p software developers, the Howard Stern Show, www.stopfcc.com, or the U.S. Senate -- we're just fans of Howard and believers in free speech.

Our hope is to encourage more people to join the fight against both the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act and the Bush administration that is ramming it down our throats.

To listen to the broadcast, you will need
Streamer www.streamerp2p.com (it's free, small, and safe)
Winamp www.winamp.com
Windows (ugh! but they're working on Linux and Mac versions)

After installing and running the software:

Browse to www.streamerp2p.com
Look in the stations list for:
"The Howard Stern Show - LIVE - Monday, March 15, 2004"
Click on the "streamer" logo of the station
Enjoy

If your browser doesn't automatically open the stream,
then just look in the stations-list of the streamer program itself,
find "The Howard Stern Show - LIVE - Monday, March 15, 2004",
double-click on it and enjoy.

The U.S. Senate will probably vote on this bill this week.
Contact your Senators at www.senate.gov (find their number and call them on the phone) and let your voice be heard.
At the very least, please sign the petition at www.stopfcc.com .
Everyone's freedom of speech depends on you.

Commercial-Free archive of the Howard Stern Show (mp3's)
Enjoy you dirty filthy thought criminal.
