Morrissey has a new album coming out next month. Now, which period was his best as far as quality and output? Immediately post-Smiths, the Mick Ronson produced stuff, or the rockabilly music?

1. I say immediate post-Smiths stuff...... |

Bona Drag is my favorite, although if memory serves me correctly that is a collection of singles.
In the words of one of the Bob's from Office Space "I celebrate the man's entire catalog."

or what?
anyway, i like BONA DRAG the best myself, but if you were wielding a bicycle chain and made me pick a proper studio album i would go with VIVA HATE.
i dont know just WHAT people see in Vauxhall & I, though. I think he badly needs a new bunch of session musicians. but for now, he's stuck with the same old bar band, and i'm just looking forward to hearing some new material.

5. I think "Your Arsenal" is his best |
|
Although I do love "Bona Drag" and to a somewhat lesser extent "Vauxhall and I."
