My little Whitty just gave me love!

He's a two year old cat with major attitude!

1. One of my female cats has attitude to spare....

I mean there's rarely a bloodless moment around our Grendel-- but she'll crawl onto my chest at night for some throaty purring love and then curl up around my hand and GROOM it until it's all cat-spit clean and tingly.

3. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! Cat thread!

Just kidding, of course (said the cat man of CS). My two little kitties (Pooky and Tootise) gave me a present tonight- an hours worth of vacuuming tomorrow morning! I gave them a catnip pouch (one of those velcro closure thingies), and they were playing with it very nicely, when Tootsie decided that if getting a whiff was good, then getting at the 'guts' would be even better. Pooky helped. Now, I have a trail of catnip from one end of my living room to the other and two very 'drunken' cats who are chasing each other around the house and playing. <sigh>.

5. How well I know...

and they know just exactly how far they can push before things get serious, and stop, look at you, blink slowly with that 'sweet kitty' sleepy look and then purr while walking around your legs. I am wise to them, but helpless in their satanic grip, especially when they curl up with me at night and lay across my arms and chest. :shrug:

7. My boys, Jerz and Witt Witt, have no.....................

desire to be unfriendly! Both spend their nights on my chest and days on the sofa! Both are absolute lovers!

8. Cats rule! The only time that mine are unfriendly is when...

one of the other neighborhood cats comes to visit. There is one in particular who lives next door and is a real sweetheart. She comes by every morning to say hello when I am going off to class, and then stays to 'talk' with Pooky and Tootsie through the screen. The day before yesterday, she brazenly walked through the door after me when I cam home, ostensibly to say hello in person to the other two. Big mistake on her part. They ganged right up on her, and with great pomp and ceremony told her that this is THEIR territory. To her credit, she simply went back outside and waited for me to give her a treat; she has claws, but never unsheathed them, even though they were being real pills to her (batting her and trying to bite). My third kitty (my baby!) just watches the fun most of the time, though he does occasionally get involved (he's currently rolling in the leftover catnip and looking for more).

trying vainly to get at my midnight snack-brazen little beast. They have their own unique ways of letting me know that it is time for me to go to bed. I'm going already!
