I can't get Cakewalk to re-install on Windows 2000
Which is stupid, because this exact copied before I had to reinstall.

It just keeps installing DirectX over and over, then claiming it isn't installed and it won't install the rest of it without it.

I need this working by Monday.

2. I'll offer a few suggestions
But I've never had a problem installing Cakewalk (I'm actually using Sonar Producer on XP now).

1. Clean your registry before reinstall. Look for the Cakewalk keys and delete them. Then reinistall Cakewalk.

2. Install a fresh version of DirectX 9 before installing Cakewalk.

3. Search google for advice on removing DX9 from your system. If you manage to get it removed, then try a fresh Cakewalk install.

That's about all I can suggest.
