Let's Go Red Sox!

That game was awesome. Nearly had a heart attack a couple times though. The 10th innning was hairy!

4. I'm not a Yankees or a Red Sox fan....but

All you Red Sox fans know no matter how many games you're up now. Yankees will finish first in the division with Red Sox second.

The Red Sox could be up 40 games at the All-Star Break, but you Boston fans know something is going to happen and you'll end up hoping for a wild card.

I think that division has finished in the exact same order top to bottom - for what now...six years?

BTW, my co-worker is a huge Red Sox fan, and he's from Boston. I told him this, and he said, "Yeah, you're right."

7. LOL....sorry.....but

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

(Except the Red Sox fans and Cubs fans who are doomed from the get go anyway)

11. That is unlikely to happen because of the Blue Jays alone
there's no way I think that they will climb back up to third after sucking so bad so far. I beleive Lou Pinella that the D-Rays won't finish last. It'll be 1- Red Sox, 2- Yankees, 3-Orioles, 4-D-Rays, 5-Jays

C'Mon the sox are kicking ass without Trot and Nomar. People thought that Pokey and Bellhorne would be a step down from Todd Walker and that's turning out not to be true

So far

12. As a Yankee fan
Edited on Sun Apr-25-04 11:19 AM by Teddy_Salad
I gotta hope that we turn things around.
I'm sure we will. The team is far too laden with stars not to be a very good team.

But one of the most important things the Red Sox have at the moment that the Yankees don't is "Passion".
You can see it in the way they play. They wanna win.

Personally, I don't believe in "The Curse".
I do believe in "The Curse of Bad Pitching and Bad Hitting" and right now, the Yankees are the ones who have that.
But I'm confident the Yanks will be there in October.

And it's great to see that the AL East is going to be pretty interesting this year, what with Baltimore improving a lot too.
