Remember: it's not just a car horn--it's also a doorbell! |
|
After a typically ass-busting six-day workweek, I got home this afternoon and collapsed into bed for my regular Saturday-afternoon nap. I had been asleep for about 15 minutes when some piece of shit pulled into my building's rear parking lot (which my apartment faces) and tooted his horn several times, jolting me out of my slumber.
God forbid those poor excuses for human beings should park in the front lot, walk into the building's lobby, and buzz their friend's apartment, the way a real person would do! :grr::nuke:

Is Caldonia talkative? Reno makes all kinds of talking sounds, gurgles and chirrups. I was told this is typical of black cats.

5. Caldonia loves to talk |
|
She will let us know her thoughts on just about everything. She doesn't gurgle much, but she does make other interesting noises.
We also have a long hair black cat. He is the "strong silent" type. Maybe it's a short hair thing?

Same thing happened to me last weekend. Just put the car in park and go knock on the door. One of the many things I do not understand.
Hope you can get back to sleep soon.

6. Whenever I sleep in the afternoon I put in a pair of earplugs. |
|
...and not the cheap ones either. I can have somebody screaming in the same room and just barely hear them (I tried it once). I got them from a doctor and love um!

I got woke up this morning around 8:30 by some ass clown who didn't seem to think there was anything amiss with "sharing" his thumpa music loud enough to rattle windows early in the morning on a FUCKING SATURDAY. Grr...
I have new neighbors in the apartment behind me and they seem to think I want to listen to their music as well. We're going to have to have words about that I think. Either that or I'm gonna wait til they're good and asleep one night and then put the speakers up against their wall and show them what loud music REALLY is with a little Sepultura.

9. Our next-door neighbor used to honk so his wife would know to pour wine |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-24-04 06:18 PM by flamingyouth
They had a long driveway that he used to back up, so he would start honking madly at the bottom, then she would immediately drop everything she was doing and pour the doofus his drink. :eyes: If she were in the bathroom (god forbid) and his wine wasn't ready for him by the time he got up the driveway, parked and entered the house, he'd start yelling at her. Yeah, he was a real prince, that guy.

11. That's sounds like somthing out of a bad '50s sitcom |
|
I hope she ended up dumping the idiot. If he was like that about his cocktail, I can only imagine how he would react to something more important.
