Is this the life or what?
I'm listening to Clapton's latest, eating Cheetos, drinking a coke, and grading lab reports. Does it get any better than this?

4. High school...
so many of them just don't care. But then, many do and make a strong effort.

5. Having 2
high school aged kids, well one has now graduated, the other rising senior, I know the difficulties they face, and how much a little effort pays off. My oldest is so bright, and didn't put forth the effort, only did what she had to to get by. But never made a simple grammatical error, had logically written essays, passed tests moderately with her eyes closed. Mediocre grades at best...she just wanted out.
My youngest struggles, studies diligently, faces every trial, test and exam with full notes, outlines and a positive open mind. She does the work and gets the grades she deserves, but has to work so much harder. She took on working on the yearbook this year, producing well written articles that she would work over and over (and of course i would critique them along the way trying to think like a teenager :)...) and she ended up co-editor next year of her class yearbook.

now which one will end up with scholorships? Hopefully the one that wants the challenge i suppose...
